Peterborough Museum Opens

The new and improved Peterborough Museum is OPEN once again! The museum has reopened after a major £3.2 million year-long redevelopment, funded by Vivacity, Peterborough City Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund. Atlas AV supplied the entire AV requirement for the project in conjunction with designers Haley Sharpe and Fit out contractors Realm Projects.

Crowds flocked to the re-opening ceremony of the Museum and cheered as the ribbon was cut by a famous TV star with a passion for history.

Tony Robinson, the star of Time Team and Blackadder, opened the museum following its £3.2 million revamp.

He said: “It is clear that Peterborough is now well on the way to becoming a major regional centre for the arts, architecture and anthropology.”
