National Show Caves. Dan Yr Ogof Caves, Swansea, Wales
Around 65 million years ago the dinosaurs disappeared from the face of the earth after 140 million years of domination. Now, thanks to Atlas AV, – THEY’RE BACK! – And more stylish then ever! Atlas AV teamed up with the National Show Caves Centre to create a unique and fun “Paint Your Own Dinosaur” interactive which allows you to paint a sleeping dinosaur via a touch screen. Watch your designs appear, real time, right in front of your own eyes. Please be careful not to wake it up!
Atlas AV supplied the complete solution to fit our customer’s unique environment. The project was completed on time and on budget. Since opening in early 2012, the interactive is proving to be a great success with all visitors, both young and old! A truly unique interactive that demonstrates Atlas AV’s ability to combine robust equipment with creative ideas. Only question is…what would you paint?
After the great success of the “Paint Your Own Dinosaur” interactive, Atlas AV were asked back to design and install the “Deeper in the Cave” touch screen interactive giving visitors the opportunity to explore the caves. As well as the “Deeper in the Cave” interactive, Atlas were commissioned to edit and instal an interactive film called “What Killed The Dinosaurs?” The explosive film allows visitors a chance to learn about a number of theories that scientists have come up with to explain the reasons why the Dinosaurs became extinct.
